About the Author

Vienna-born Günter Grüner discovered his love of photography as early as the age of ten. He published his first photographic works and picture presentations in 1982, following which he was nominated for Austria s state prize for photography. He won the international slide-show festival, El Mundo. His photos have formed the bases for a dance theatre project, music combined with images, publications in travel magazines, multimedia productions, and three illustrated books by the author. He has traveled the whole world and has presented his photos in a variety of adventure slideshows with subtle humor and artistic creativity.
