One side is printed with an image of a black pepper plant and text about the 15th century arrival of Vasco de Gama in India and his subsequent takeover of the pepper trade for his king. The other side is printed with an image of a pill, and text about the World Trade Organization's role in curtailing the production of generic drugs in India. The title is printed in black at the top of each side.
About the Author
Richard Morgan was, until his writing career took off, a tutor at Strathclyde University in the English Language Teaching division. He has travelled widely and lived in Spain and Istanbul. He is a fluent Spanish speaker. Winner of the Arthur C. Clarke, John W. Campbell and Philip K. Dick Awards his books are published around the world. He lives in Norwich with his family.
