About the Author
Marie O'Mahony is Professor of Advanced Fashion + Textiles at OCAD University, Toronto and Visiting Professor at University of the Arts, London. She works as a consultant and curator worldwide advising a wide range of clients on new materials: providing reports on emerging technologies for specific market sectors; problem solving and finding the right materials, manufacturers or technologies for products or applications; organising brainstorming events and symposiums. She is an invited speaker internationally on subjects relating to her books. Marie writes regularly for a number of magazines including Selvedge and Fabric Architecture.
