About the Author
Sara Ahmed is a feminist writer and independent scholar concerned with exploring how power is reproduced and challenged in institutions and everyday life. She worked as a feminist academic for over 20 years before she resigned in protest at the failure of her university to deal with the problem of sexual harassment.
