About the Author
Yamile Saied Méndez is the author of many books for young readers and adults, including acclaimed picture book Where Are You From? and Reese's YA Book Club selection and inaugural Pura Belpré Young Adult Gold Medalist Furia. She is also a founding member of Las Musas, the first collective of women and nonbinary Latine authors. Minji Kim lives in Seoul, South Korea. After majoring in design in college, she worked as a character designer for both games and animation. Since then, she has primarily illustrated books, including editions of The Little Prince and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. She has collaborated with large companies and is active in fields like advertising illustration and art product launch.
