These commonalities provide an opportunity to study the paradigm. This book is the study of commonalities of actions and reactions of security forces, militants, governments and societies. The book also contains dynamics of militant groups and various models available from past to study current issues like recognition of government of militants, counter terrorism policy, history of use of force and negotiations etc. Historical conclusions from militant warfare have also been included. Moreover, a short comparison of American War in Afghanistan with American War in Vietnam, Soviet War in Afghanistan and First Anglo Afghan War has also been included in the book.
Focus of the book is main countries i.e Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan, however, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Nigeria, Somalia and Mali have also been included to highlight the larger trend. The book contains brief details of almost all important events of 9/11 wars alongwith short history of the countries participating in war.
