A great picture story book with an environmental message. When one little boy realises that Santa Claus's home is under threat from oil drilling, he gets a lift in a boat from a kind old sailor, and they collect children from all over the world and sail to the Arctic to confront the oil men. The drillers are shamed into leaving, and the kind old sailor takes off his oilskins to reveal that he is in fact Father Christmas! Both Christmas, and the Arctic habitat, are saved by the children.
