About the Author
David Atherton is a Great British Bake Off winner, a foodie, writer and healthy eating champion.
He is the author of the bestselling children’s cook book My First Cook Book (Bake, Make and Learn to Cook in the US), Good to Eat, a curation of recipes showcasing food that is good for you and tastes great, and most recently My First Green Cook Book, a children s cook book celebrating all things plants.
As a health professional he supports individuals in choosing a healthy lifestyle, especially in regards to diet. He has a special interest in gut health and feeding your microbiome.
He lives in Catford, South London with his partner Nik, their cat Rey and dog Kai (both GBBO rescues).
