Sebald s AUSTERLITZ, the OXFORD-WEIDENFELD TRANSLATION PRIZE, and the SOCIETY OF AUTHORS SCHLEGEL-TIECK PRIZE on several occasions. Best known for her translation of the Asterix series, Bell was awarded an OBE in 2010 for services to literature. She lives and works in Cambridge.
