He is the author of many Walter Foster art instruction books, and he teaches figure painting, artistic anatomy, and plein air landscape at the Athenaeum School of the Arts in La Jolla and in workshops across the country and has served as president of the National Watercolor Society. Stephanie Goldman is known for her richly colored figures, insightful portraits, boldly painted miniatures, and dynamic charcoal, pencil, and ink drawings. She imbues all of her work with a focused creativity and experimentation that intrigues collectors and critics alike. Stephanie teaches figure painting and portraiture at the Athenaeum School of the Arts in La Jolla, California, and has worked with artist Ken Goldman for more than two decades collaborating on both large and small public and private art projects.
