About the Author
Sally began writing in 1984 while working as Editorial Director of a nationwide children s book club. She has been writing full time since 1995 and has had over 150 books published - from picture books to young readers to young novels. She won the Nestle Smarties Gold Award for her children s novel, Spilled Water, and her Hodder picture book, Shhh! (with Peter Utton), won the Children s Book Award, as well as being runner-up for the Smarties Prize. Keep Out!, Help! and It s the Troll! have followed on from Shhh!, all of them illustrated by Peter Utton, and all of them sharing great elements of surprise and humour, designed to encourage fun interaction with their audience.

Peter Utton is an author and illustrator of children s picture books. Peter has written and illustrated seven books including The Witch s Hand which won the Austrian Children s Book Prize, was runner-up of The Mother Goose Award and shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
