Eva Ibarzábal has a BA in Modern Languages and a Master’s Degree in Translation. She worked as a news producer for a local TV network and as a freelance medical translator until her passion for literature made her switch her path to translating fiction, biographies, graphic novels, and children’s books. She has been recognized two years in a row by the International Latino Book Awards for the Spanish translation of The Beloved World of Sonia Sotomayor and Vice President Kamala Harris', memoir The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, for which she was awarded the Gold Medal in 2021. Eva lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Eva vive en San Juan, Puerto Rico.
