In Ralph Compton's USA Today bestselling series, every man has a breaking point...
Zeke Wolpert is sheriff of Keith County, Nebraska. He doesn’t keep the peace so much as turn a blind eye to the illegal activities of outlaws who pay him for the privilege. Now the outlaws have set their sights on a Wells Fargo shipment that’s worth a fortune. It’s a chance for Zeke to get enough money to retire from this unsavory business once and for all. But it’s also an opportunity for him to honor the badge he wears by serving the right side of the law…
