The Famous Five visit Finniston Farm, known for its beauty and old English heritage. Upon their arrival, they meet an American man who seems to be interested in buying several antique pieces for cheap prices and his purchases are now making the villagers uncomfortable. The Five decide to pair up with the village folk and decide to find the ultimate treasures, so that the village may become rich again and not have to bend to the will of any outsider.
