COURT REPORTING. You ask, "I have heard that court reporting pays very well, but what exactly is it?" In my book, "COURT REPORTING: WOULD YOU LIKE TO EARN A 6-FIGURE INCOME FAST?", which does not require a 4-year degree, I introduce you to this exceptional profession. I explain everything you may wonder about it. I tell you in my book how to become a court reporter, the great income you can make, what it takes to become one, and what is the most efficient pathway there. I enjoyed this extremely interesting profession for over four decades, one that paid me well and provided me with a high standard of living, and brought me into contact with wonderful associates, colleagues, and officials within the judicial and legal realms. I now enjoy giving back by sharing important highlights of what I have learned and I want to encourage others to enjoy court reporting, too. This book will be a great way to get you there and find the answers that so many of you have sought. This one-of-a-kind book is finally brought to your fingertips and it is the first of its kind, as I offer you in-house knowledge of a fascinating profession that has never been explained as it is now in my offering of this book, and it’s not as hard as it looks if you learn the right way!

Marijane Stomberg, born in Pontiac, Michigan, and I attended university, then found machine shorthand study at Pontiac Business Institute, and then attended Stenotype Commercial College, Detroit, Michigan. The first judge I worked for was the Honorable James L, Ryan in Wayne Circuit Court. I also worked in the freelance court reporting area, taking depositions and substituting in many courts for the experience; common pleas, county, and circuit. I married and had two wonderful children. One of the major attractions to the court reporting business was that I could often work for myself and decide my own time routine, allowing me adaptability with my children. I moved to the Houston area and worked in the federal court system, and the state court system, formed my own deposition business again, took many out-of-state depositions, and worked for other reporting agencies. I also was called to take depositions for the United States District Attorney s Office and governmental agencies from Washington, D.C. I briefly taught court reporting at Oakland University, MI. In the Houston area, I worked for outstanding judges, the Hon. Harriet O Neill, Hon. Harvey Brown, and was a Deputy Court Reporter for the Hon. Caroline Baker, at the request of her official reporter Kimberly Kidd Myers. They were all extremely gifted and I was so lucky to work with them.
