Madiha is an educationist and a prolific writer who grew up in Karachi, Pakistan. She has a Master’s degree in English literature and an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts. She teaches business communication and evolution of English language at university level. She also taught at Children Centre, Texas A&&M University, USA.
Madiha has written poems and stories as Creative Consultant under a USAID project for early graders to improve their learning outcomes.
Poetry runs in Madiha’s DNA. It is both her passion and catharsis. That her first poem was published when she was only 14 is evidence she is born with this talent. Her poems capture diverse facets of human nature and offer hope for humanity. She loves traveling and writes features and travelogues for leading national newspapers. Readers would find a cosmopolitan feel in Madiha’s work because of her extensive traveling.
Madiha also runs a not-for-profit initiative “Leadlings” since 2017 to promote art and culture at community level. She resides in Islamabad, Pakistan with her husband and two children. “Bhadoon” is the first collection of Madiha’s poems.
